Statement of Faith
We believe in the one true and living God, Jehovah, who exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, suffered, was crucified, dead and buried and was resurrected; ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father.
We believe in the authority of the Scriptures as the inerrant, infallible and true Word of God written by men under divine inspiration having God as the author and salvation as its end.
We believe mankind was created in holiness, but fell from that state through volitional disobedience.
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ who by His death made complete atonement for our sins having risen from the dead, now enthroned in heaven as the one and only all-sufficient Savior.
We believe that the righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to us through Jesus Christ and His shed blood.
We believe sanctification is the on-going work of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life by which we are made partakers of God's holiness, purifying the sinner from the contamination of sin.
We believe that repentance and faith are both sacred duties and inseparable graces. It is the work of the Holy Spirit turning one to God, receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as Prophet, Priest and King and the only all-sufficient Savior.
We believe that in order to be saved, sinners must be regenerated or born again by the power of the Holy Spirit resulting in repentance becoming a new creation and a newness of life in Christ Jesus.
We believe Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer in Christ in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, demonstrating our faith in the crucified, buried and risen Savior.
We believe the Lord's Supper by the sacred use of bread and wine as symbols of Christ's broken body and His shed blood, partaken by members of the Church to remember the suffering and death of Christ.
We believe we are living in the last days and the end of the world is imminent and Christ will return visibly in glory to the earth. The dead will be raised from the grave and Christ the righteous judge will judge the quick and the dead. A separation will occur; the wicked will be consigned to hell, everlasting punishment and the righteous to eternal joy and peace in heaven.
Mission Statement
The predominant mission of Barry D. Givner International Ministries is to effectively reach, teach and equip every ethnicity and culture with the transformative gospel of Jesus Christ.
He said to all of them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" (Mark 16:15).
With evangelism as its thrust, our ministries' desire and hope is to challenge and bring light to those forces which shape and influence cultural ideologies with the truth of God's Word.
Our intention is not only to defend the faith, but to also quicken the hearts and minds of those at the top ring of society and those at the bottom by incorporating the principles of the Kingdom of God. We solicit your support but most importantly, petition your prayers in order to make God's Kingdom a reality in the world.
Our vision is to establish a global team, advancing the purpose of Christ, by training future ministry leaders, “to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ maybe built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:12-13). We are committed to serve as a God–honoring ministry through fervent - - prayer, study, spiritual discipline, integrity and to offer humanitarian aid wherever needed.
